He Never Ceases to Amaze Me

So many stories. Most of them all about Daniel. Today is no different.

I was sitting in our room Sunday morning just veggin. Daniel was doing his own thing, I wasn't really paying attention. Eventually I pieced together that he was filling the bath for what I was assuming was going to be a relaxation tub. Wellllll apparently it was a little TOO relaxing. A little while after I heard a strange noise coming from the bathroom. A noise I usually don't hear in the bathroom, it sounded like snoring..?? Surely not- he's in the tub! What ever could it be? I went to investigate and this is what I found....

He fell asleep in the tub! WHO DOES THAT!?!?! Well, who does that and doesn't either a: DROWN or b: wake up because you have water in your face!
Anyway- I was laughing pretty dang hard. Again, I love my husband.

My Little Sweetheart

Alex is really hard to get smiling in pictures. He does smile (although some have yet to be convinced, my father included) but when he is around people or the camera pops up most of the time his smile is totally hidden. BUT I caught a few right after he woke up from his nap. Oh I love this kid!
Also- some other pictures on file
His normal picture face AND after he had just played in the flour
It's getting cold outside!
His new favorite place. And by favorite place I mean he is entertained the longest in the sink

Oh My Goodness, I was Laughing so Hard

Ok so here is the story:
Daniel came home from school today and was totally distracted with his iPad and phone and he was texting and talking to people about nothing! Nothing I tell you! I was like dude, you have been gone all day- your family wants some attention (meaning I wanted attention). He argued that he was totally focused and that Alex knew he loved him ect. This is what I heard: blah, blah, blah, blah :-) Then a deal was made- I make a yummy dinner, if he holds Alex the entire time. Well... I should have been more specific.
I turn around and find this:

I laughed so hard. Who does that?!?! It was hilarious! Oh my husband. I love him.

PS- Don't forget to look at my Halloween post below! I did 2 at the same time

Halloween!

I always find myself spelling Halloween: Hallowween. There are just so many double letters, my fingers just keep going.
Anyway- we had a fantastic Halloween season. We carved pumpkins at John and Tammy's and then went to a Fall Festival at RVU. So so much fun!
Here we are
Starting to carve. And by starting I mean getting all slimy and dirty.
Daniel did a two sided pumpkin
Tammy was gracious enough to make pumpkin milkshakes for us. I offered to help and ended up shredding their wooden spoon into the shakes...oops. (I totally stole this picture from you Jennie:-)) Here, Tammy is digging in the ice cream for the other 1/3rd of the spoon while I am holding the rescued piece.
Sadie said: "Dad, this isn't Cinderella, it's a man" HAHAHA love that girl
Kill it Tammy!
The end result!
John carved a JK + TK and a heart. Awe, so cute. So while posing he tried to shape his arms like a heart
My finished pumpkin
All lit up and glowing! Mine, Daniel's and Tammy's
One side of Daniels - it was a scary butterfly...
The other side. I think this looks so dang cool!
Day of the fall festival:
Our little doctor
We almost caught a smile!
After he woke up. He was so upset that he was awake
Playing in the grass. That or taking a fat dump
Here we are! Can you guess what we are?.... We're a cardiac arrest! Hahaha! Well, I think we're funny :-)
Daniels friend Meredith gave Alex his costume when he was born. Another classmate of theirs had a baby a month before us, so here they are in their matching costumes with Mer.
Looks like Owen is going to punch Alex's lights out for taking his attention :-)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
