Daniel's 26th Birthday

We had a FANTASTIC weekend! It was Daniel's birthday on Sunday so his sister, brother-in-law, 2 nieces and 2 nephews drove out from Utah to be with us. It was such a blast!

Day 1 started with lunch at our favorite Thai restaurant. Alex liked daddys hand

Eating is hard! So he just fell asleep on his arm. So cute

Here we are!

The next day we drove to Woodland Park CO to go four wheeling with my family. When we got there Caleb got out and said, "Hey, look! Real trees!!" and thus the collecting of trees and branches began. I think the boys, Daniel included, hunted for sticks for at least 2 hours. It was so cute. It started out as just sticks, but eventually turned into huge trees :-)

Eventually we went four wheeling. This is me with Caleb, who is a huge rival of Daniels!

He was SO good with Alex. Here he is playing peek-a-boo with him. Alex loved it.

Sunday- his birthday:

Daniel with his awesome food spread. For his birthday dinner he had: chicken tortilla soup, tex mex, hala (how do you spell that Amy?), fruit and lemon aid. YUMMY!!

First birthday as a family. Daniel got a Josh and Johns ice cream cake, which is basically heaven in your mouth. Do you love the spit up Alex is sportin? Awesome

On Labor Day we attempted to see the hot air balloons go up down at Memorial Park, but they didn't because of the wind :-( So we went to Garden of the Gods!
