FOUR WHEELING

We went four wheeling with my family last weekend. Alex had a blast! I believe he's a true mountain man. If only we could get the ground more even so he wouldn't be afraid to walk...
First things first- play music with Uncle Brett
He loves it
Very first trip with grandpa. He cried pretty much the entire time
But he got used to it
Matt and John soaking wet after a particularly fun ride
Al- gotta love his face
Out with mom- he loved it by this time
And now with dad
We love four wheeling!

My First Biff

Alex is a full time walker now and I assumed that with that came bumps and bruises. He didn't let me down. This is his first biff. You can't really see it but he has a huge goose egg on his forehead right above his nose. He was trying to go outside and went face first :-(
This is his 'kiss' face. When we ask for kisses this is what he does. So cute
His first real word is 'ball'- he is right in the middle of saying it
So.... I went to Kid to Kid and just HAD to get this for Al....
SO ADORABLE!!! We haven't been able to put it outside yet because it has been POURING every evening, but he loves it just the same inside!

Our Garden!

After much debate on a location we finally planted a garden this summer! Its both Daniel and my (or I??) first attempt so we started small and basic. Hopefully with plants that are stubborn and put up a good fight before they die :-)
Here it is!
Our Strawberries
Tomatoes
And onions and carrots
Alex is a GREAT helper in the garden. Pulling out what once was cilantro. Our first and only fatality so far!
Look mom! I'm helping!
And watch how the dirt splatters - cool!
Our first product: a nice ripe tomato!!
Daniel is very proud. Alex just wants to squish it

The ZOO!

We went to the zoo a few times this week while Daniel had a little time off. Alex loved it. Here are a few of the pictures from our trip
Alex's face when he saw his first tiger:-)
It came really close
The Peacock was struttin his stuff around the park
Little boy all tuckered out
