Proof

A few of you have heard us tell the story that Alex loves the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. For some, this is hard to imagine. I mean the kid is only 5 months old. How does he really know if he likes them or not? He could just like the bright lights and movement of images on a screen. Last night we finally got the proof :-)

I realize that we have nothing to compare it to, so you'll just have to trust us. He does not do this with any other show on. He is only this focused and intent on the computer when the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are on. His daddy is so proud and we are terrible parents for letting him watch this... oh well :-)

There has to be a creative way to say 'Update'

I recently went to Utah to 'help' my pregnant sister move into her new house. Both of my sisters are pregnant and so I am thinking I am going to be a great help. I can help lift and I figure I have a lot of energy so I can help. Plus it would be nice to go visit because I haven't been to Utah since December (a VERY long time for me). Alex could see his cousins etc. These are my thoughts and rationals for going by myself to Utah.

I soon found out that I am the biggest idiot you've ever met. I don't know what I was thinking going by myself anywhere outside a 30 mile radius of my house. Needless to say, I wasn't as much help as I initially planned. But here are some pictures from my adventure!

Afton started holding Alex and so naturally the girls flocked to her. They LOVE 'Alk'.

He had an explosion at Aftons house and unfortunately I was unprepared for this event. I had to put him in Taylee's old PJ's. He looks so funny, huh? He is just too much of a boy.

The next day I had to take a picture of him in his boy clothes to make up for taking lots of pictures of him in girl clothes.

He touched his toes for the first time while we were out there! He totally doesn't even care, does he?

Now we're home:

Alex LOVES his daddy! That and he loves to grab everything.

We went on a walk... he was SO tired and crabby! It was hilarious! Poor kid.

There is a trail right by our house we love to go on. This is part of it.

Alex will be smiling and laughing up until the second we take the picture. We can't get a smiling picture to save our lives. That is why this is such a treasure.

4 Month check up:

His daddy dressed him before we went the doctor :-)

He did his feet like that naturally. I love this kid, he is SO cute

Four months:

- He weighs 15 lbs 10 oz (53rd percentile)

- He is 25.25 inches (49th percentile)

- His head circumference is 16.75 inches (47th percentile)

- When he fills his gut he eats rice cereal, bottles and nurses

- He eats everything in his hands

- He grabs everything in front of him

- He smiles/laughs only when provoked and when a pretty girl is around (no, seriously)

- He used to wake up only once a night, but since Utah he wakes up 2-3 times a night... gggrr

- He hates to bend, its laying or standing for this guy

- He also has to be out and looking around at everything
