Daniel's 26th Birthday

We had a FANTASTIC weekend! It was Daniel's birthday on Sunday so his sister, brother-in-law, 2 nieces and 2 nephews drove out from Utah to be with us. It was such a blast!

Day 1 started with lunch at our favorite Thai restaurant. Alex liked daddys hand

Here we are!

The next day we drove to Woodland Park CO to go four wheeling with my family. When we got there Caleb got out and said, "Hey, look! Real trees!!" and thus the collecting of trees and branches began. I think the boys, Daniel included, hunted for sticks for at least 2 hours. It was so cute. It started out as just sticks, but eventually turned into huge trees :-)

Eventually we went four wheeling. This is me with Caleb, who is a huge rival of Daniels!

He was SO good with Alex. Here he is playing peek-a-boo with him. Alex loved it.

Sunday- his birthday:

Daniel with his awesome food spread. For his birthday dinner he had: chicken tortilla soup, tex mex, hala (how do you spell that Amy?), fruit and lemon aid. YUMMY!!

First birthday as a family. Daniel got a Josh and Johns ice cream cake, which is basically heaven in your mouth. Do you love the spit up Alex is sportin? Awesome

On Labor Day we attempted to see the hot air balloons go up down at Memorial Park, but they didn't because of the wind :-( So we went to Garden of the Gods!

I Love Date Night

AS some of you may know, last year I got Daniel tickets to the Thanksgiving Day Broncos game for his birthday. We were going to go with my sister Afton and her husband, uuuhhhhh..... whats his face :-) (Necu, make sure Matson reads this cuz thats funny and he'll love it!) Sadly though I got sick, so Afton and I reluctantly gave up our tickets. I was so sad! I really really wanted to go!

So last night for our date night Daniel took me to my first ever Broncos game! It was a preseason game vs the Lions and it was AWESOME!!! I loved loved loved it!

I hope we get to go to more while we are here! Happy date night!

What we've been up to

This past month daddy went to Air Force Training camp

He played a lot

So it made him really tired

He got to march in really straight lines

The Air Force gave him really awesome glasses!

They gave him a hair cut

He had to march early in the morning

We missed him and are so glad he is back!

Meanwhile....

I practiced my tummy time

I stayed with grandma, she was being funny

I rode in the car with mom lots

I hung out with Aunt Annalise

I went to church and loved it

We played with Tammy and John and Tanner in Manassa

Tammy is the best and put me to sleep

It's hard to be 2 months old

Then... DADDY CAME HOME

We went out on my first nature walk

I grew and grew and grew until I got this awesome tummy!

I'm so happy daddy is home!

I love to watch LOST. I don't like Carebears, just LOST

Mommy got me a new toy, I like looking at it!

I went to Leadville and saw daddy's friend Richy

So that's pretty much it. We missed daddy LOTS. I am getting bigger and bigger and sleeping longer and longer! Mommy loves it! Daddy is back in school so I get to stay home and hang out with mom. I'm pretty excited I'm going to be getting new cousins at Christmas. I miss all of my family. Love you!
